    Okay, here's my lineup.

    Starmie
    Modest
    MOVES:
    Psychic
    Ice Beam
    Surf
    Confuse Ray

    Garchomp
    Modest
    MOVES:
    Draco meteor
    Dragon Claw
    Swords dance
    Earthquake

    Zapdos
    Sassy
    MOVES:
    Drill Peck
    Thunder
    Rain Dance
    Fly

    Lucario
    Impish
    MOVES:
    Iron tail
    Swords Dance
    Aura Sphere
    Close Combat

    Houndoom
    Hardy
    MOVES:
    Nasty Plot
    Dark Pulse
    Flamethrower
    ????????

    Gengar
    Modest
    MOVES:
    Shadow Ball
    Hypnosis
    Focus Blast
    Sludge Bomb

I need help with houndoom's final move, advice on Zapdos' thunder/raindance combo, and overall feedback on the whole thing. I know the nature on lucario isnt the best, but I was all prepared to turn my game off and on when the egg hatched to get the right nature, but I figured out the nature is given when the egg is given, not when it hatches, so it was too late.

Uh, EVs? Also, Impish takes away from Special attack, and lucario doesn't have any special attacks, so how is that a bad nature?

Why? You already have close combat. It is a waste of a moveslot then.

    Okay, here's my lineup.

    Starmie
    Modest
    MOVES:
    Psychic
    Ice Beam
    Surf
    Confuse Ray/Thunderbolt

gives it more type coverage, otherwise pokemon like Slowbro can wall you (those immune to water/psychic/ice attacks)[

    Garchomp
    Modest?? Try Adament or Jolly
    MOVES:
    Fire Fang
    Dragon Claw
    Swords dance
    Earthquake

I don't think I've ever heard of a Modest SDchomp before, anyway Fire Fang takes care of Skarmory who would otherwise wall you

    Zapdos
Sassy? I guess Modest here, but since you can't change it whatever
    MOVES:
    Drill Peck
    Thunderbolt
    Reflect/Light Screen/Thunderwave
    Roost

Don't use Rain Dance/Thunder combination on any pokemon, the only one who can pull it off well is Kyorge (thanks to Drizzle)

Also I believe Zapdos is considered Uber, therefore most people won't battle you with him, and more people won't battle you just because of a legendary on your team

    Lucario
    Adamemt/Modest
    MOVES:
    Earthquake/Dragon Pulse
    Swords Dance/Dark Pulse
    Extreme Speed/Aura Sphere
    Close Combat

Two sets there, left hand side is physical and plays of the Adament Nature, Right hand side is special and plays of the Modest Nature (CC for Blissey for the Special Set)

    Houndoom
    Timid/Modest
    MOVES:
    Nasty Plot
    Dark Pulse
    Flamethrower
    Hidden Power/Sludge Bomb/Will o Wisp

Sludge Bomb is a horrible typing, but at least gives you a final attacking move, Hidden Power can be surprising, you could get a really awesome type that takes care of Houndoom's weaknesses. Will-o-Wisp for a bit of burn action

    Gengar
    Modest/Timid
    MOVES:
    Shadow Ball
    Hypnosis
    Focus Blast
    Sludge Bomb/Thunderbolt

I need help with houndoom's final move, advice on Zapdos' thunder/raindance combo, and overall feedback on the whole thing. It's never too late (unless its a Legendary) to change Natures, just breed until you get a prefered one

Anyway comments and suggestions in bold

    Okay, here's my lineup.

    Starmie

    Zapdos
    Sassy
    MOVES:

    Lucario
    Impish
    MOVES:

FIRST UP, ALOT OF YOUR POKEMON HAVE BAD NATURES

Yeah the natures blow. We still don't have the EVs, making it a pain to rate.

give him a break, maybe he doesn't know what their EVs are. You could be more helpful rather than just chewing him out

    Starmie should have thunderbolt
    garchomp should have dragon rush

Wasn't trying to chew him out, but he shouldn'y be posting a competitive team if he/she doesn't know what an EV is. There are several EV training guides on the internet, and one on PC too. If you do know what EVs are post them. If not find out and then post the EVs you'd use. Items would help too. If there was one thing to critizise this team on, it's the lack of defensive pokes. They are ALL sweepers, and hardly any have stat-up moves.
You need one or two walls, a tank, and the rest stay sweepers. Plenty of roles to choose from so use what you want. Also, a starmie with your moveset except with thunderbolt instead of confuse ray takes every one of your pokemon down except lucario.
In other words, you don't have counters for many common pokemon. That's my advice. I as always may be wrong though I'm pretty sure about this one.

Okay, EVs. Gengar has ev's on sp. def and sp. attack evenly, same with starmie, only i have some on HP for starmie too. Lucario is speed, with the rest evenly distributed over attack and sp. def. (his sp def sucks. probly a low det. value.) Houndoom isnt trained, garchomp has them on attack and speed, and zapdos isn't trained yet. I dont have the rain dance/thunder combo yet, so thats easily ditched, but i like the light screen/thunderbolt/roost/drill peck combo. And I think sassy is a good nature for zapdos, as it evens him out. I also think aura sphere is a pretty decent move for lucario, I rather like his moveset. Yea, i argee the natures need work, I'll probably breed for better ones.

Don't double post, you could just use edit. just write the EVs out in a normal format. It's so hard to read them like that. Copy and paste your Team and add the EV distribution so it's easy on our eyes. You will definately have to scrap a couple of those sweepers for a wall or two and a tank. The current team relies on brute force. A mega-experienced trainer like aragornbird would eat this team for lunch and still have plenty of room for desert simply because there is no strategy. When you run into a dusknoir and a steelix you'll have lots of trouble. You will get walled by other pokemon you can't overpower. That's why strategy beats brute force. A blissey would wreck lots of this team. Just try to impliment strategy and some new pokes into your team and you should be fine.

    Starmie@Lefties
    Trait: Natural Cure
    Nature: Modest/Timid
    EVs: 252 SP. ATK/ 252 SPEED/ 4 HP

    Thunderbolt
    Surf
    Icebeam
    Recover

I persinally don't like recover on starmie but it's better than recover on Zam.

Some Bolt-Beam water types can murder this team. 2/3 pokemon will die of most Starmies.

    Garchomp - Icebeam
    Starmie-Thunderbolt
    Zapdos - Icebeam
    Houndoom - Surf

Lucario and Gengar are the only ones free, but Spiritomb can shake things up.
