Ok I am entered in a tournament on smogon called the monotype tournament II held by Earthworm. We weren't allowed to pick the types we wanted. I got a pm from EW saying I had rock type i almost punched my computer screen what kind of typing is that? if i got an opponent with a fighting type team and a scarf machamp was on it i would be toast or at least that was my train of thought. My team actually turned out great taking me all the way to 8th place on shoddy standard ladder. So I bring to you a truly great Monotype team.

Pretty easy to explain destroys the things it can or cripples things that will try and set up first turn. This set is kind of my own because of toxic and crunch I used a standard spread but tweaked the set it works so much better on hippodwn weavile leads because you don't have to worry about counter and you can toxic it then stall it out with something else

This t-tar is one of my favorite ones I've ever used in my life. This is my own twist on a CB t-tar set first I migrated some of the speed evs to Def because it provides him with some bulk which is really big for a rock mono type team seeing as they don't have alot of speed also against steel teams it slows him downs so Gyro balls don't do a lot of damage. This guy is pretty much a wall breaker for physical and special walls doing over half to brozong with a fire punch, ohkoing a non bulky metagross with EQ, and bringing duskinor down to its knees with a crunch. blissey is brought down to its knees with any of these stabbed moves so no matter what it is going down.

Now this guy is amazing 200 base defence stat and a 100base spdef stat throw in a sandstorm to beef up his spdef and you have a 100% Indestructible wall. I chose careful because with it's great defensive stat there is really no need to improve on it and I gave him spdef evs for the same reason. Now this guy is a very huge part of my team because he not only gets out stealth rocks but he slows the metagame down for everyone else on the team thunder waving and lowering opponents speed can make a very large differance in the outcome of anygame. regirock is a huge steel magnet so i gave him EQ to destroys those who think they can come in and have their way with him. This guy is very weak to ghost with levitate but he can still drop a t-wave on them so I can bring something else in and desimate them later.

This big lug is my amazing physical attack absorber no and i mean no physical attacker can beat this guy to the punch in a 1 on 1 not even gyarados sporting its 4x waterfall can beat this guy down he is just a beast being slow enough to absorb gyro balls, eating CB siczor bullet punchs the 2hitting them back it is just crazy what he can do. he is also very bulky in the spdef department as long as sandstorm is whipping around being able to take timid non-specs surfs, modest life orb gengar focus blast, and more. he is just a beast and a great thunder wave absorber as well

This cradilly is amazing my set (as far as I know) this craydilly comes in on stuff it knows it can set up on gets up the barriers first then starts toxic stalling pokemon. In a sandstorm it's special defences climb to ungodly levels and opponents already know their only chance of getting rid of it is through physical attacks but, after setting up there isn't any hope in that either. I chose hp fire because the only types resistant to toxic are poison and steel types. Steel typs take super effective damage from hp fire and most poison types are also grass types so it seems best. this team stalls opponents to death or untill they shut off their computers in frustration this set even outstalls blissey thanks to rest making PP last longer and toxic+Sandstorm damage+ hp fire damage means blissey dies a long and drawn out death.lol oh and anothoer good thing is it can be wirlwinded or roared out so all those wanna be status phazers can do jack once he is set up and gets going

this guy is a tank spatker. he is really the only rock spatker. plus he is a great hazer taking away all status changes saves us from easy sweeps latias hates this guy his defences are great as is and he can steal away all CM boost after absorbing a t-bolt, same with gyarados

This big lug is my amazing physical attack absorber no and i mean no physical attacker can beat this guy to the punch in a 1 on 1 not even gyarados sporting its 4x waterfall can beat this guy down he is just a beast being slow enough to absorb gyro balls, eating CB siczor bullet punchs the 2hitting them back it is just crazy what he can do. he is also very bulky in the spdef department as long as sandstorm is whipping around being able to take timid non-specs surfs, modest life orb gengar focus blast, and more. he is just a beast and a great thunder wave absorber as well

This cradilly is amazing my set (as far as I know) this craydilly comes in on stuff it knows it can set up on gets up the barriers first then starts toxic stalling pokemon. In a sandstorm it's special defences climb to ungodly levels and opponents already know their only chance of getting rid of it is through physical attacks but, after setting up there isn't any hope in that either. I chose hp fire because the only types resistant to toxic are poison and steel types. Steel typs take super effective damage from hp fire and most poison types are also grass types so it seems best. this team stalls opponents to death or untill they shut off their computers in frustration this set even outstalls blissey thanks to rest making PP last longer and toxic+Sandstorm damage+ hp fire damage means blissey dies a long and drawn out death.lol oh and anothoer good thing is it can be wirlwinded or roared out so all those wanna be status phazers can do jack once he is set up and gets going

this guy is a tank spatker. he is really the only rock spatker. plus he is a great hazer taking away all status changes saves us from easy sweeps latias hates this guy his defences are great as is and he can steal away all CM boost after absorbing a t-bolt, same with gyarados
