Rate my Team Please!

I actually have used CBlax, it owns stuff.

I honestly find the whole "fits the player/team" argument invalid since these kinds of things are just rating on an individual scale.

ResttalkLax will ALWAYS be better than Curselax, even if Curselax fits the team and/or player better.

For CHOOSING poiemon, it's very valid. For rating them, it isn't. did that make ANY sense? Probbaly not, don't kill me >.>

Either way, Curselax is meant to be a special wall, yet special attackers walk all over it. ResttalkLax says sup to Azelf and gives it a taste of DOOM.

But yeah, Resttalk always for special walling.

CBlax is a lot of fun though, especially drilling STAB Return or even selfdestruct into some thing's head.
 
Yeah, didn't make much sense.

That's my main gripe on rating, and why I stopped doing it. Too many people only rate one poke at a tiime, without looking at the team. Or what the player wants. Which is the most important.

Maybe he had full SP.DEF covered, but still wanted to use Snorlax (like if he had Blissey). Are you gonna call it redundant, & he shouldn't use Lax? It's his team, & the only rules that must be followed is standard rules in battle.

So...we can either make his Lax work, or not help at all, if all we're gonna say is "don't use Lax"!

your team is pretty good but has a few parts that are weak.
I think it's interesting starting out with electivire, but Swampert can always take out any ground type that can KO your Electivire.Also, your Dusknoir and Lucario work in a similar way but i don't understand your use of snorlax and your Dragonite,from my view they just take up valuable space on your team
 
Snorlax and dragonite were just kind of preference pokemon. I didnt have a plan for them really. Others I am thinking of:

To make Lax work, you must simply get rid of the obsession around here with curse and go go go Sleep Talk.

Methinks I've been PROMOTING Snorlax.

Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)

- Sleep Talk

No EVs for a reason...I don't know them. Smogon's work okay though.

BTW, some pokemon are just always better than other variations of itself, regardless of the team.
 
Your team is decent but one of the major weaknesses in there is speed and being exposed to a few special sweepers. In your team, you should have a pokemon that can at least stand a chance of outrunning pokemon such as Gengar and Starmie. Plus you need more special sweepers and maybe try and inflict your opponent with more statuses like paralyze.

Attacks:
Aura Sphere
Dragon Pulse

EVs: Max out speed and special attack leaving the rest for HP.

Jolteon
Life Orb/ Leftovers/ Petaya Berry
