I recommend catching a pidgey/pidgeotto, they're real resources when they evolve into pidgeot. It might take a bit of training to catch up with your others though. Just leave it in first in your party, and keep battling the elite 4. Switch it out at the beginning of every battle. Then, when It's strong enough, use it to fight the elite 4;)

Or just Vs. seeker train a bit and then demolish the Weak 4 like the dirt they are :)
