One reason I don't like my team for the Pokemon Tournament is that most of them are Ubers. Since they're actually allowing some legendaries, I thought I'd get some. Do you think this can last until the semifinals or so?

    Rayquaza
    Life Orb
    Moves:
    ExtremeSpeed
    Roost
    Dragon Pulse
    Overheat

    Palkia
    Lustrous Orb
    Moves:
    Surf
    Thunder
    Water Pulse
    Spacial Rend

    Garchomp
    Yache Berry
    Moves:
    Swords Dance
    Dragon Claw
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge

    Salamence
    Scope Lens
    Moves:
    Earthquake
    Dragon Claw
    Roost
    Protect

    Latias
    Leftovers
    Moves:
    Dragon Pulse
    Surf
    Calm Mind
    Recover

    Togekiss
    Focus Sash
    Moves:
    Aura Sphere
    Silver Wind
    Psychic
    Roost

no you have too many dragon types. You need to put in some others. I would keep Garchomp and put in a water, fire, and grass type

Your current team gets a 2/5 4/10 40/100 in case your wondering

Would Typhlosion be a good replacement for....let's say, Latias?

Natures and EVs would be good to post.

For Ray, I suggest using Draco Meteor > Dragon Pulse, honestly it's more effective and Ray isn't going to last long. Fire Blast or Flamethrower should then be used instead of Overheat, so you can stay in the battle longer without having to switch due to the SpA drop. I'd consider using Outrage > Roost, you most likely will have no time at all to use Roost due to the way Uber's metagame is.

Water Pulse is useless, you already have Surf and the small confusion chance seems to make it a wasted moveslot. Imo, Outrage could replace that to handle special walls like Blissey and Latias (Spacial Rend only 2HKOs).

Protect is a poor move on Salamence tbh, it doesn't really help with anything except scouting. Dragon Dance > Protect, Mence can get a sweep in if all goes well. Outrage > Dragon Claw imo to actually damage stuff like Groudon and Lugia. Like I said with Ray, Roost is poor, especially on Mence who has not too great of a defenses to take hits from most Uber attackers. So, Flamethrower or Dragon Claw instead, no Fire Blast because both Flamethrower and FB 2HKO specially defensive Skarm (you need Groudon to make a Jolly FB OHKO), and Dragon Claw is there for a Dragon STAB without locking you into Outrage. You can use Draco Meteor as well, but that's mainly used to open a sweep up for DD / SD Ray. Also, Life Orb is better than Scope Lens so you don't miss out on important KOs, however Expert Belt is "decent" option if you don't like recoil.

Soul Dew > Leftovers always on Latias, the beneficial boost is too good to pass up. I would consider using Grass Knot > Surf to help with Kyogre, Thunder is good too, but it's usually best with a Kyogre on the team.

Focus Sash sucks on anything that's not leading, use Leftovers on Togekiss. Air Slash > Psychic, gives you a STAB and the flinch chance is very useful. Use Nasty Plot or Body Slam / Thunder Wave, Nasty Plot gives Toge a chance to sweep where as Body Slam has a 60% chance of paralyzing, so it works well with Air Slash, while Thunder Wave is a guaranteed paralysis, but doesn't work on Ground-types. You can also use Wish > Roost, and Protect > Body Slam or Aura Sphere for team support. Encore could also be used, but Wobbuffet generally does that role better.

    Hope I helped.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Wolflare! See, I was using Smogon and considered using Giratina/Dialga/Palkia/Kyogre/Groudon counters since most junoirs (I am playing on the Junior Division full of 7-year-olds and...stuff) are using the following Pokemon (which explains my Dragon-type overload)

One flaw is that the Soul Dew CANNOT be used. The main objective of my team is to annoy opponents with recovery moves while exposing their weaknesses. Salamence was there for a Rayquaza/Salamence KO. Think I can improve a bit on that?
