RBY Wild pokemon Editor not opening my ROM

    Title says it all. RBY Wild Pokemon Editor is not opening my ROM. Neither is Trainer Editor, but PokeMap and other tools are. I read somewhere that I have to remove write-protection from the rom, but it is not write protected. I need to edit the Wild Pokemons for a Hack I want to make, so if you don't know what might be going on with the tools but can think of another solution, I 'd really appreciate it.
     
    I have to change the extension from .gb to .gbc and back depending on what tool I want to use at a time. Also, gymEdit will lock the rom without letting you open it with other tools until you kill it in task manager.
