    Finally, the long wait for the Diamond and Pearl chapter in PokeSpecial is over! I was browsing NetKun, and saw that, in addition to the Emerald and FireRed&LeafGreen Sagas, Diamond&Pearl is also being released monthly. I expect it'll be released in Volumes after the other two Sagas are done. Also, if you look at the front page of NetKun/Pockemon, you'll see that the Emerald's Saga's pic has been updated. Now, both Ruby and Sapphire stand beside Emerald, and they have new clothes yet again! Ruby has red, Sapphire has blue! Awesome! Also, the three heroes from Diamond and Pearl are added, too.

    The hero is called Diamond and the male rival is called Pearl. I don't think the heroine's name is mentioned, but I probably wouldn't be able to read it, anyways. And, as I'm sure you've noticed from the front page; Diamond chose Naetoru, the Grass Starter, Pearl chose Hikozaru, the Fire Starter, and the girl chose Pochama, the Water Starter.

    The girl looks as though she'll be the serious member of the group. Diamond and Pearl are, err...scary. XD

    I knew PS shippers were foolish to assume the girl would be called Pearl.
    Ruby is a girl name. Still what will the girl be called? For the first time there is a male rival, female rival when there are only 2 games out.
     
    They should rename it. Also there is a poll for your favourite character on the official site just click on the Pokeball on the right. Red, Yellow and Ruby are 1st,2nd and 3rd. Saphire and Green(girl) are 4th and 5th, you can see the top 100 on the official site. Emerald is the least popular character named after a game.
     
    The wait is over indeed. At least they're being consistent with handing their female protagonists strong characteristics, since I'm sure this girl will do something important as they've done with Blue, Crystal, etc. But more importantly, I'm most curious how Team Galaxy will be handled. I always enjoyed Special for their respectful treatments of the criminal orgs, and this time will be like no other. Awesome.

    Edit: Imagine the possibilities with another main female character now: Mars in the arc. It's almost shocking (especially given their conversions of the Boss characters).

    I'm just repeating what I read. The two boys say; "Paaru ando Diyamondo deesu" in this pic, so I'm under the impression that they're their real names.

    But I'm dissapointed...Pearl the rival ?? T_T xD

    BTW...Yesterday looking in Bulbapedia I accidentaly found the name of the 3rd character. Is Berlitz.
     
    All though good pictures...I cant beleive the girl isnt pearl.

    Anybody who signs up can edit it, anyway just call her either Hikari or the girl.
    Also I don`t think Berlitz is her family name, it dosen`t give its sources.
    And anyway I trust serebii.net more than Bulbapedia.
    And so far no name just `The lady`
