The endless amounts of Tailow still circled the sky above.

"It looks like we didn't effect them..." Christian said.

"We need to get out of here before they can hurt us." He said sternly.

Roan grabbed Ai-ai as the leader of the taillow finally went down. "We did it! We did it! We...uh oh..." he said as the taillow failed to disperse. If anything, beating their leader seemed to have made things worse! As he returned Ai-ai to his pokeball again, he looked around at the others.

"W-well...if leggin' it's the plan...we should get going quick," Roan said as he looked around for the most covered possible way to escape. Sure, Sav could probably have gotten a few of them away, but Roan didn't want to leave anyone behind...not this time!

((OOC: Conveniantly enough, 2 people left because we haven't gotten to chapter 1 yet. That was the prologue, as I said in the OOC thread.))
Chapter 1: Victory Needed.

Outside Petalburg Woods...

The black Tailows circled the sky above the forest, almost like they were trying to find an intense amount of prey. Christian glanced towards the ocean, almost wanting to push the others inside of it. But he couldn't...He just cared too much about helping civilization thrive. Mr. Briney's house was still sitting there, and Christian had an idea.

"Come on guys, let's check that house for supplies." Christian called out to the straggling group behind him.

Roan was the first to catch up to Christian. Roan didn't know why, but Christian seemed to be the kind of person that Roan knew could make things better. Not everything, but at least most things. Mr Briney's house had seen better days, but at least it was still standing...for now.

"Um...maybe someone should stay out here...in case the Magmas come looking for that other patrol or something," Roan said as he held Sav's pokeball in his hand, in case he needed to get away quickly. Besides, Sav would probably force himself out of that thing sooner or later, so at least this way Roan wouldn't lose a pocket this time around!

'Who died and made you king?' Arisa thought to herself as she stared at Christian with distaste. Nevertheless, she stayed close behind him, her two Pokemon safely inside their Pokeballs.

Every so often, she glanced back towards the woods, wondering whether the Tailow would attract attention. She didn't want to face Magma grunts like that ever again. It brought back too many painful memories.

OOC: This rp was on page 2 before I posted anything. People on other rps sure are enthusiastic about them, eh?

OoC: oh, wow. I have instant email updates, and I was waiting for them to say you posted, but it never told me you did. Sorry for dropping the ball, there.

BiC:
Ananta walked up to the group, staring up at a ruined old house by the seafront. Catching Christians comment, he turned his gaze to the house, thinking it strangely familiar. Then it hit him.

"That's old Mr. Briney's house..!"

Katey cocked her head, gazing at the busted residence, recalling the familiar name. Mr. Briney had been the kind old man who had offered to take them to Dewford quiet some time ago for Ananta's travel journal.

"We can't loot old Mr. Briney's house..."

OOC: Hey, where's the thread leader? Is he on another vacation?
