Survey: Recommend a Kanto romhack/fangame here!

I'm wondering what the best Kanto remakes/reimaginings have done so far, to set themselves apart from the crowd and go above and beyond.

I mean, are you including enhancement hacks in that? Because Gamefreak has rebuilt Kanto no less that four times now. It's not like it lacks for reimaginings.

Enhancement hacks are fine too. I personally love Radical Red. That's the best one I've played so far.

Well, I can recommend my own Shin Pokemon if you fancy to try something along the lines of a remastering of Gen 1. Maybe try shin blue-jp for something a bit different.

Playable Blue is a rom hack that swaps the protags and has you play from Trainer Blue's perspective.

Team Rocket Edition is a unique if somewhat edge-lord hack that has you play a team rocket thug.

Evo Yellow, over in the sideshow showcase, looks pretty neat.
