I'm thinking of training a Tyranitar (it is only a Lv.6 Larvitar), so can someone recommend a set of moves (not DragonDance, because I want to train legally without waiting on FR, LG), where to place EVs, etc. Mine is a nature that boosts speed and lowers attack.
you mean "relatively* low... my clefable is partly a special sweeper with 200 sp.atk... so be happy with all these OU mega high stats.
Without dragon dance, I still think that it's quite useless... and since you got Lavitar (which must require cheats), might as well get dragon dance too.
-_- I didn't get Larvitar by cheat...... Got a female Tyranitar on Colosseum and made an egg in sapphire... I can't say that as cheating -_- Well, someone has any other ideas?
Man, my T-tar from Colosseum was the only one from the not-so-Elite 4 (as I call the 4 fights before, and including Nascour). Every other one was female :-) Got to wait for a Ditto before I can breed, but oh well.
Remind me where T-tar is actually using a Sp Att based move?
True, but I wouldn't mind. I'm using the Ruby and Sapphire Official Trainer's Guide from Brady Games. I'll even post the ISBN number and you can look at it on Amazon (I assume they have that feature).
I don't think Tyranitar without Dragon Dance works... Its got amazing status, but because of its horrible type it can get OHKOed by Megahorn or something Fighting. Aerial Ace won't help against Herracross, because its gone before its attacks and something Fighting will Brick Break and its gone. Thats the way I'm seeing it =|...
