About the Project:
Pokémon Valkara is an ambitious fan-made Pokémon RPG set in the mythical, Norse-inspired region of Valkara, a land where ancient legends shape reality. The game combines elements of Norse mythology, epic fantasy, and the classic Pokémon experience, weaving them into an unforgettable, story-driven adventure.

In Pokémon Valkara, players embark on an epic journey through a frozen, mystical world shaped by powerful elemental forces, ancient gods, and forgotten legends. The story centers around the rise of Team Ragnarok, a ruthless faction obsessed with reviving the legendary wolf Fenrivar, whose howling cry is said to trigger the apocalyptic event known as Ragnarok. As their plans unfold, the balance of the world is threatened, and players must step up to challenge their ambitions.

The game features custom Pokémon designs, inspired by Nordic folklore and mythic creatures, including powerful deities, elemental spirits, and mystical beasts. Players will form bonds with Valkara's unique Pokémon, face off against mythical guardians, and discover the secrets of Yggrasil Summit, a fabled location connecting realms beyond comprehension.

We aim to provide immersive world-building, engaging characters, and challenging gameplay mechanics, including dynamic decision-making, and exploration-based storytelling. Every choice will impact the world, shaping how the story of Valkara unfolds and determining whether its fate is salvation or destruction.

We're assembling a passionate team of creative individuals to help bring this epic Pokémon adventure to life!

Open Positions:
🎨 Pixel Artist (Tilesets & Overworlds):

• Create custom environment tilesets (snow, cliffs, forests).
• Design overworld NPCs and Pokémon sprites.

👾 Scripter/Programmer:

• Develop custom mechanics (abilities, moves, puzzles).
• Assist with event scripting using RPG Maker XP + Pokémon Essentials.

🎵 Composer/Sound Designer:

• Create region-inspired background music (icy, mystical, adventure themes).
• Design sound effects for battles and cutscenes.

✍️ Writer/Story Designer:

• Help expand the game's main storyline, side quests, and character arcs.
• Design in-game lore and dialogues.

I would love to apply as a writer, also if I could apply as a scripter I would, but, I know nothing about programming fan games (nor hack Roms, even though this is not that), but if someone is willing to teach me the basics I would gladly learn.
