We got a severe problem... and that is, Cyber + any monarch = end of match cause Phoenix is gone. Cyber Dragon runs over every other monster by Phoenix, ew. Also, that's a LOT and LOT of dead draw...

    +1 Cyber Dragon
    -1 Hand of Nepthyr

You'll be too surprised how often Phoenix shows up in the opening hand. Hands can be searched out very easily so you only need the one copy. Cyber + Hand on the same turn is instant Phoenix (and that's the theme) so let's increase cyber. Plus, it makes the deck less vulnerable to other Cyber Dragons by suiciding into it at least and it's easy to get with the tin out.

    +1 Old Vindicative Magician
    -1 Mystic Swordsman Lv 2

Apprentice loses too much flexibility without at least one OVM. Lv2 can go to the sidedeck or something. It won't help us against DDA or DDWL cause they'll ram into you and not going to wait for you to ram into them.

    -1 Vampire Lord
    +1 Ryu Kokki

We need more monarch ramming support, and any anti-Cyber Dragon methods. Vampire Lord is for offense only to discourage Sakuretsu Armors, but you'll need Ryu Kokki when a monster just ran over turtle, and the cyber dragon/monarch is about to hit your lifepoints.

    -1 Statue of the Wicked
    +1 Book of Life

It's thematic, and it's less of a dead draw than that trap. It's a good way to kill off froggy too. Also, it never hurts at all to bring reaper back =x

    -1 Statue of the Wicked
    +1 Breaker the Magical Warrior

Do I even need to explain this silly mistake? Plus, you can blow up coffin yourself now.

Eh, I'm still pessimistic regarding how to kill off Phoenix so the effect triggers itself. DDA and DDWL are staples at the moment as warriors always get A+ for stability. We'll see though~

Eheheh, I don't have the money for another tin right now, unfortunately...

OVM was in there but was removed for Treeborn & Reaper.

Kokki's a thought that I'm scared didn't come from me...but the Statues are sort of necessary...they come off a LOT, give food for the tributes, work as a temporary wall, and are TERRIFIC at baiting. The original whole point of this deck was to abuse it along with Coffin...and I also just don't like Breaker in general since it can't be Specialed with a token.

I think this calls for a side deck...

I play a deck based on Phoenix and Vamp when we maxed out Reaper many a years ago... i called it a Revenge deck...=D

the one thing I am strongly a believer in for this deck since it has gotten rather popular..
    - Hands
    + OVM

Does it even matter if Breaker can't be special summoned...?

The problem is, Mobius is going down as Thestalos is going up, making those traps difficult to pull off without your own effect. Relying on the one heavy storm is difficult... MST is usually lying around waiting to be chained unless you only got one s/t. Breaker is the only other really dependable thing which can destroy the traps, eh...

Does it even matter if Breaker can't be special summoned...?

For me it does...that's just the kind of duelist I am--I usually focus on Specials, and unless I have a whole slew of cards ready to recharge it (like in my magician deck a little while back), it just doesn't work out as seeming worthwhile to me. *shrug* That's just how I've always felt. Don't get me wrong; I really DO appreciate your input, but that's just the way I play......
