Question: Regarding advertising of YT-Channel

    So, the Rules say, "It is left to the discretion of the staff to decide whether a link to a website or forum may be considered advertising"

    And in the Welcome Lounge, there's a note, "Please remember that PC is not a place to advertise your YouTube channel or other off-site accounts/projects!"

    Is there any legal way to advertise one's own Youtube-Channel? Is the signature allowed? Would I be, in theory, allowed to make a small discussion thread about my videos?
     
    According to our rules, you're free to advertise anything within your signature, whether it be your website, your friend's site, YouTube channel, you name it! I don't think you'd be allowed to create thread about your videos, unfortunately. Though, if they're LPs and walkthroughs, you should be able to embed then into your topics over at our Let's Plays, Guides and Reviews section. Direct links wouldn't be allowed, though, as far as I'm aware. D:
