Region and Fakemon ideas!

so im making a region based off australia, (i know alot of ppl have done it tho) and im thinking of a name for it. i also have a map thats a work in progress. i've only just started it, so it looks like sh*t. i also have a rough sketch of a fakemon based on a bird native to australia called a 'masked lapwing' and its name is 'otrovur' which is a mix between 'otrov' (croatian for poison) and 'spur'. i cant draw very well either so yeah..... also, to me it looks a little too much like the bird its based on. tell me your suggestions for the color palette :)
