I kinda think we need some mods in certain areas. Such as in Stratagies & Movesets. I kinda feel that one isn't enough. I am in no way saying Smarties-chan is a bad mod. He, or she, is a great mod. S/he keeps the spammers & flammers in check. I just think that one isn't enough.

Don't confuse this with me begging to be a mod. Not at all. I don't think I'm qualified, & am quite content with being able to annoy mods with reports :)

In some ways I do agree. Heh. The mods we have now are good but more people are leaving PC nowadays. D:

I worry. I fear that PC is going through a slump again. XP Just like '05.
But Alas, There must be a changing of the guard sometimes and I think that now is as good of a time as any to do it.

Check out the thread "In need of a moveset for Mamoswine & Donphan" in the Strategies & Movesets forum. The high levels of flamming. I am not barking at the mods for not rushing to stop it. & Smarties has a life-he can't be on PC everyday. But thereshould be some backup.

I've thought this for quite some time. Lately, startegies and movesets has been at its worst, and really, it isn't smarties' fault. I don't know who would be qualified though, as many RMTers (namely me) aren't great at handling the n00bs, which is probably why Smarties got modded in the first place. He/she can handle flamers well.

Even with more mods, it's not like we can have 24-hour survalence(sp) of 'movesets.' Ususally, by the time smarties has logged on, the dust has settled and a super-mod will usually hand out a few warnings and close the thread. Still, I don't think there's much we can do...I mean, it's not like the mods have shifts like at a job.

It's not only strategies and movesets, but the problem is probably the worst there. I'm not complaining, I don't even think there's anything anybody can do about it to be honest. But anything, I, not to mention the rest of the RMTers, would appreciate.

We've actually been looking at candidates for a Movesets mod as of recently. If you have any suggested candidates, feel free to PM them to an S-mod or Admin, because it's one of those forums we don't really go into. XD

We definitely need some more mods in some sections, especially S&M. Smarties is doing great, but more than one is needed. I mean, theres two for mixed community groups, why not two from S&M?

I nominated Richard Steel, sims, and Dark Azelf.

Many people are qualified, I think those are the best in my honest opinion. Anyone can do, as long as the fire cools off. there's been plenty of "smoke" in 'movesets' lately, and when there's smoke, you better belive there's a fire. lol

But I am. I will say that even our calmest RMTer (sims) has shown signs of frustration. It's about time smarties gets some help. I mean, I got a PM from a n00b (I WAS TRYING TO TUTOR!) telling me to...well, it would break a few rules ;)

Somebody active, though most of our RMTers are anyways, would be good for the job...

I think we definitely need more mods in S&M. A lot of the Spam occurs when Smarties isn't online. And flaming and bashing and dawdling around

I know some people think PC has too many rules, but 'movesets' pretty much shows why we need 'em...I mean, it's kinda "meh" at the moment. Also, poeple don't bother reading the rules there, and post "What level does staravia evolve at?" threads or random RMTs where the thread starter can't realize hyper beam is lol.

It just gets frustrating. It's a good thing it'll be over soon. It Really is...

Partly right. But lately, Christos aka Semele is approving more and more lower quality hacks than the standard should be. I remember a year ago, Scizz did not allow me to post such a low quality hack. Result? BIG improvement. Now it seems that Chris just comes and approves threads just to not be bugged by newbies. Anyways, there are really a plenty of moderators, s-mods and higher staff so I think this topic shouldn't be discussed. It's a situation which regular member won't change, so now's the time to accept it. In the same way as we accpet low quaity hacks and other stuff that wasn't common before.

You obviously haven't been in strategies and movesets lately. I mean, I kind of EXPECT getting flamed now, which is a bit sad when you think about it. Ouir mod is great 9Smarties-chan), but he/she can't be on 24/7, and the higher stff has other stuff to worry about, and BAM the flamers come in.

I hopw we get a new mod (if so, soon), because the problem isn't really getting better. It isn't unbearable by any means, but it IS annoying and really ticks me off people thin kthey're all high and mighty...anyhow...

I also kind of agree, whenever I go to the Stratagies and Movesets forum it's got a lot of people in it being unkind to others.
