Released Monotype Challenge

Okay this is going to be just like Alakazam's Ultimate Monotype Challenge but it will scan in a different way. You'll start in Hoenn, then move on to Sinnoh then to Johto and Kanto in the same game.

Requirements

1. A copy of Emerald.
2. A copy of Platinum.
3. A copy of Heartgold or Soulsilver.
4. The time and willing to do this.

Note: Emulators will be allowed for any of the above.

Rules

1. No hacking or cheating.
2. No using Legendary Pokemon.
3. No trading Pokemon from other games, unless you are doing so for an evolution that requires it or below.
4. If your Type does not show up until after the First Gym Leader, you may trade a LV. 5. That Pokemon must be found in that game's first Pokedex.
5. You can use HM slaves of different types; just don't use them in battles. The exception to this rule is with Psychic teams in the 3rd Generation games. Due to the fact that the Abra and Ralts families literally have no means of combating Poochyena and his fellow Dark-Types at the start of the game, the HM slaves can be used to help them out.
6. The challenge for each game is completed once the Elite Four is beaten for the first time (except in GSC where it ends when you defeat Red). At said point, you can then begin with the following game.
7. Go in order. Emerald -> Platinum -> HGSS
8. Use the same Type in every Generation.

Few questions. One, how is this much different than the Ultimate monotype challenge? And why do you say the Missingno glitch from RBY can't be done when none of those games are being used?

You start in Hoenn go to Sinnoh then go to the combined Johto/Kanto and the end of the challenge is complete whenever you defeat Red/Ash on the mountain. The Kanto is the one from HGSS so you keep your party from Johto to do Kanto with. If/When a Hoenn/Sinnoh Game comes out it will be those 2 games. Its not 4 games like UMTC its 3 games here at RMTC. Also the rules are different as instead of keeping your starter until you get a pokemon of your type you trade a LV. 5 Pokemon of that type to start with. Also I have a website soon so your entie log isnt split all over this one forum unless you want it to be. You may keep them all neatly together and for the record I didnt said it would be much different I said it will scan differently.

UMTC = Kanto -> Johto -> Hoenn -> Sinnoh
RMTC = Hoenn -> Sinnoh -> Johto -> Kanto or Sinnoh -> Hoenn -> Johto -> Kanto (havent decided, meant to have a poll)
