2nd Gen Remakes...

    I like the Idea of making remakes especcially for G/S. They are great games and the idea of going back to kanto is awesome. I love that feature. And then you have the gym challenge there to. I saw a video of someone exploiting something to get to kanto and in another video the safari zone... but the graphics are alot better Like D/P better.. Anyoneknow what this is? Also I think that at the same thime or immediattely after the New set of games following D/P comes out that remakes for R/G/B, G/S/C, R/S/E, And if it is on a new handheld D/P/?. That way remakes aren't strung out on different platforms. I don't know maybe it is just some wacky dream but i love it.
     
    Yea alot of people said that and there were so many threads like this. Yes and I'll love to see a remake also

    They shouldn't remake the advance games. They should remake Johto games and that's it. Nintendo isn't going to. So it isn't even good to hope.

    i wish that would happen everybody has some pokes are still un-obtainable even with the realese of D/P the starters is one and so many more although you can still have one of them but its still hard to complete AND you can only have one
     
    Does Johto still even exist? I thought all along that it was replaced by Orre and the Sevii Islands...

    Yes because in D/P they make jhoto references
     
    a remake from Nintendo would be awesome, they'll at least be complete from the first release and will have no bugs
    not like the ones hackers do, those start with beta/alpha and never reach the complete version.
    anyway thanks to the hackers they at least try
     
    I wouldn't be so certain that Nintendo won't remake G/S/C for the DS.

    Yeah, the Diamond/Pearl game's ability to talk to GBA cartridges doesn't exactly bode well since that means it is theoretically possible to get any Pokemon that way.

    However, People loved the story and the characters of GSC as well. My favorite human characters (Silver, Bugsy, Morty, Eusine and Will) all come from G/S/C. Everyone I know would like to see a remake since they have such fond memories of the original. And a remake could expand on the story in much the same way the Fire and Leaf games did.

    ...The bottom line is there is money to be made in such an endeavor. And money talks.

    I'd like a remake, too, though, and add 16 badges again.. except, make Kanto or whatever region more interesting and harder.
     
    i hope they do. nintendo shot themselves in the foot with the lack of pokemon in R/S/E (although we all no its for money purposes)

    G/S/C pwns all. i just wish they had a longer story line in the kanto region AND a harder elite 4!!!! (itd be cool if they re-challenged you after the kanto badges)if they add those things it would be god like
     
    I highly doubt of a G/S/C remake, you can already catch all Johto Pokemon in D/P. If I was Nintendo, I would only make a G/S/C remake when a new console comes out with a newer Pokemon game that can't catch 80% of the pokemon and it's impossible to transfer pokemon from D/P.
     
    This would be awesome only if the exapand the storyline and make the Kanto region just as hard as the other one, or even a little harder.
     
    Remake+

    A remake of GSC, would be indeed awesome, even better if it was a sequel remake. Kinda like they did with LG/FR. But update it more than those got.

    Like, is Flaafy still sick after 4 years!? lol. Did they complete the tunnel? So on. Remake and then some new, so it isn't as disappointing as LG/FR were for me. I liked but they didn't do much new besides gfx, items, and then Sevii Islands. Which you had to beat E4 first.

    An expanded Park would be awesome. Like they did with Safari Zone in Emerald.
