3rd Gen Renaming Pokemon/Trainer IDs

    Hi,

    I've got like 20 level-100 Pokemon that I'd love to rename, but I don't have the cartridge that I got them traded in from, so is there any way to rename them without the cartridge that contained the original trainer ID?

    Or, otherwise, is there a way to recreate the same exact trainer ID on a new cartridge, so that I could play the game til I get to the Name Rater, and eventually rename those Pokemon? In this case, ID# 57228, OT "ANDREW"

    Seriously, please use the Simple Questions, or is this a hard question to ask?
     
    You cannot rename them if it is not the original ID number. Trying to match it by restarting can take who knows how long. Probably 10 times harder the thrying to find a shiny. If you lost the cartridge you'd be better off looking for that. Sorry. Simple Questions thread next time please.
