Replacing gen 2 player sprites

    Greetings, I'd like to replace the character's overworld and battle sprites in a rom hack (dark energy in particular) with the vanilla ones. I googled around but couldn't find a simple tool that does that. Is there a fast way to do it? Thanks in advance :)
