Introduction​

Hey guys. I have recently been playing through my Pokemon Ruby and got inspired to do this story where you return to Hoenn, 25 years after Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. This Story is about the son of Brendan (the male character in those games). Hope you enjoy :)

Chapter 1: A Warm Welcome​

Hello. My name is Seth, I am 15, and I am the son of Brendan. What?! You've never heard of Brendan? Brendan? Son of Norman, Leader of the Petalburg Gym?
Embarked on an Adventure from Littleroot Town and pretty much conquered the Hoenn League? You honestly have no idea? Well, thats not important, yet.
My father soon moved on to the Kanto Region soon after defeating the Hoenn League and thats where I was born, Viridian City to be exact. I've loved Pokemon from a young age and formed a close bond with my Mom's Eevee. My father wouldn't let me go near his Pokemon, appearently, they were too big and strong for me to play with. But today, he took me on his Flygon, and flew me out to visit my Grandma, in Littleroot town, where he told me he thought was a great place to start my adventure. He was going to introduce me to a good friend of his, Proffesor Birch. I couldnt believe I was going to get my first Pokemon! It was so exciting!

When we arrived in Littleroot town, it was raining, not a very good start to my adventure really. My dad took me to see Proffesor Birch straight away, so I could surprise Grandma with my new Pokemon. Inside the Lab, was Proffesor Birch, another kid and a man who I assume was his Father standing behind him. Also there was a girl with who I think was her mother behind her. My dad seemed to know them both! May and Wally were their names. Appearently, they were all friendly rivals when they were younger... Anyway, on the table were three Pokeballs. Proffesor Birch told us each to take a pokeball. May and Wally's kids just jumped straight for the one in front of them, I was left with the last one. I took it anyway. We all released the pokemon from their pokeballs to see which one they got. Wally's kid, Bill, got a Treecko and May's kid, Sam, got a Torchic. Me? I got a Mudkip. We all each got a Pokedex aswell. I wasn't too dissapointed with a Mudkip. I hear they grow up to be big and strong, so I was happy. We thanked Proffesor Birch and left the lab, although outside the lab, there was trouble. Two men, each in a different uniform were standing outside the lab.

"So, Champions of Hoenn..." one man said, breaking the silence. "We meet again... and we get to meet your brood? Arent we priveledged?!" he continued. The man talking, had red, spiked hair, we was old and was wearing a black coat with a red "M" on it. The other one, was wearing a blue and white, striped bandana, he too, was old, but he had a beard and was also wearing a black coat, but his, had a blue "a" on it. "Hand over the Pokemon, kids!" shouted the man wearing the Bandana. Our Parents jumped in front of us and screamed "Never!" two of the men pulled out a Pokeball each and sent out their leading Pokemon. One was a Camerupt and one was a Sharpedo. Each Parent sent out a different Pokemon. Wally sent out Gardevoir, urging Bill to watch. "Wanna see what your Torchic will grow into?!" May asked Sam as she sent out her Blaziken. My father? He brought out his Aggron!

The battle commenced as Aggron used body slam on Camerupt. Camerupt became paralyzed and couldnt execute it's next attack. Sharpedo used bite on Gardevoir and Gardevoir was badly injured by this attack! Gardevoir used Psychic on Camerupt and Camerupt went down! Blaziken quickly used Mach Punch on Sharpedo followed by an Iron Tail from Aggron and Sharpedo was down. Both villains thought that it was unfair for three against two and so they each brought out a Crobat! They were quickly finished off by an Iron Tail from Aggron and a Psybeam from Gardevoir. Both Villains retreated, vowing that this was not the last we had seen of Team Magma and Aqua. According to the parents, they were Archie, and Maxie, of Team Magma and Aqua. Archie led Team Aqua, and Maxie led Team Magma. I quickly made friends with Sam and Bill and we decided to travel together. Although, I had to go and see Grandma first!
