5th Gen Returning of Old Characters?

Ok, I first noticed a simlarity between red and Leaf and the new black and white characters, while new players normally look different then the old ones. Here:

It was also pointed out that Wally looks similar to N... seen here:

I like the concept of Red/Leaf, but I think N and Wally seems a little out there... especially since Wally loved his Pokemon. Though it is (slimly) possible, though maybe they're related? Or maybe it's just a similarity hinting towards RSE remakes? So what do you think?

I don't know if it's likely, but I like the idea of Wally being N.
He got over his disease, grew up, and is now trying to do whatever he's trying to do.

The main characters being the same though? I think that's kind of silly.

I don't think they are them... N being Zoroark seems more likely to me but it would be cool if it came true though :)

Hair color isn't always the same. The point is, he has dark hair. But I think they loook similar enough, as well as their clothes. They could've decided they wanted to go to Ishuu without their Pokemon, to start fresh. They made new friends, then finally got invited to get starter Pokemon.

Last time, this type of thread was merged with the rumours thread, however, I think most of this discussion can fit into the visiting other regions thread - since the thread itself relates to connections between all the regions and why that's likely. A thread on character connections itself isn't really necessary.
