Hey, guys =) I'm not exactly a frequent, or even occasional visitor to the Art boards, but I was recently overcome by the urge to draw Fakemon for my upcoming project so here are the starters and the game's "Baby" legendary. Tell me what you think, but please don't down my art for the quality. My scanner isn't exactly "good" quality so the images are degraded.

    The Three Starters:

    From left to right:

    Mistweet, the Mistletoe Pokemon
    Grass/Flying
The berries growing from Mistweet's shrub-like wings are plucked and used as decorations during winter holidays. Its feathers and berries change to white in the Winter, concealing it from predators.

    Torcub, the Scorch Pokemon
    Fire
From birth, Torcub's ears burn brightly. It will instinctly seek out honey and burn it to eat. If angered, its ears will blaze and it will charge in a frenzy.

    Ribbiter, the Tadpole Pokemon
    Water
Found only in misty lakes and ponds. When a Ribbiter croaks, it means a rain shower will begin. For this reason, Ribbiter are desired by farmers to water their crops.

    Their first-stage evolutions:

    Mintock, the Fresh Pokemon
    Grass/Flying
When a Mintock takes flight, a fresh, minty breeze is expelled from its wings. If a Mintock bows to you, it recognizes you as someone with great inner beauty.

    Solbear, the Solar Pokemon
    Fire
Commonly seen near mountain bases and rivers. Very wary of those it doesn't know. If a Solbear decides you're an enemy, its tail will blaze up and will charge with great speed. Due to its heft size, it is forced to trodge along on all-fours.

    Frillamandr, the Frill Pokemon
    Water
Very speedy and mischievous. Frillamandr will hide below the surface of misty lakes and wait for prey to come near. Once close enough, it will release its long, sticky tongue to snag the prey and drown it.

    Final-evolutions:

(This image shows the male version. Female will be uploaded at a later date.)

    Peaquet, the Elegant Pokemon
    Grass/Flying
The sighting of a male Peaquet is extremely rare. The females are dingier, but the brilliant males will fight to the death for a female's affections. The eye-patterns on the wing tips and on their breasts intimidate foes.

    Urselios, the Black Flame Pokemon
    Fire/Dark
Powerful muscles allow this Pokemon to stride on two legs. The bracers on its arms prevent it from releasing excess energy. When in combat, its arms become engulfed in black flames and it launches itself into a bloddlust frenzy.

    Sagrogain, the Sage Pokemon
    Water/Dragon
Once thought to be non-existant. If a Sagrogain croaks, a rainstorm will cover the area it is located. Its elderly-appearance benigns a deadly Pokemon. Poweful thunderstorms and floods can be unleashed depending on the pitch of its croaking.

    And, the "Baby" Legendary:

    Silumoth, the Nightfall Pokemon
    Bug/Dark
Legends say that when Silumoth takes flight, night is sure to follow. The eye-like patterns on its wings are used to ward off predators. Due to its coloring, Silumoth blends in perfectly with its enviornment in Amber Woods.

I'm not the best artist out there, but I'm satisfied with how these guys came out =) More to come soon!

@jon: Thanks ;^_^ However, I was hoping that no one would think it was a Torchic-clone. I tried to avoid that in the design, though I had no intention of making a Grass-type Torchic in the first place.

@Blue: Thanks =D I'm hoping someone will sprite these for my game.

I'm currently working on the pseudo-legendary line. Think velosaraptor ;)
