Hey guys, Pokemon Pearl is the game I am currently playing. I have 6 badges. My lineup is Torterra Lv. 43, Luxray Lv. 42, Hippowdon Lv. 42, Gabite Lv. 36. I want to add one more Pokemon to my team, and then I will catch Palkia before facing the Elite 4. Should I go with Level 1 Riolu, Level 34 Snover or Level 34 Snover??? Also feel free to suggest any other Pokemon that I can catch at this point in the game (6 badges, just got to Snowpoint)

P.S. From what I have heard Lucario would be better than Weavile or Abomasnow, but is it worth raising it from level 1. Also, consider which Pokemon would be effective vs. the elite four.

Sneasel wouldn't be the best option considering it is ice and dark, and is weak against Aaron, Bertha and Flint who specialise in bug types, ground types and fire types respectively. Snover, again weak to Aaron and more so Flint, but super effective against Bertha -- (could be useful for her Quagsire!). As for Riolu, it would be weak against Lucian and Flint (the two stronger Elite Four members so...I'd watch out.)

Really, it's up to you, but if it was me, I'd go with either 1) My favourite of the three and try to make a strategy using them. (Adds a whole lot of fun!) or 2) Riolu mainly because of its little weakness compared to the other three.

Aside from that, RMT/Team Help threads don't belong here. Such threads belong here, where much more experienced battlers linger.
