Title will most likely change (So I will make a new post)
Rated: PG (Subject to change)
This is my first attempt of a Fan fiction of any kind. Here's the Prelude.
I have bursts of good and descriptive writing, so alert me to the dry parts. Oh, and it's not going to be all depressing, I know the beginning is. Enjoy XD
Edit: Hehehe, maybe I should of saved that... Uh... Gotta rewrite the next chap, will take some time...
Prelude:
It was dark. The thrashing wind beat against the trees violently. Thunder boomed, and lightning crackled as it danced across the clouds who wept great tears of falling rain. In a house not to far of the road, a little boy was trying to hide from the angry roar under his covers. He yelped as the thunder clapped, and shrunk under the covers more.
A door opened, and light flooded just outside his safe haven. He felt someone sink down on his bed, and he cautiously peeked out. Gently his mother put her arm around her son, and squeezed his shoulder.
"It's okay, it's alright. Nothing can hurt you," she soothed.
"Mommy, why is the storm so angry," the little boy asked.
His mother chuckled, "They aren't angry honey, they're sad."
"Sad?"
"Yes, you see, the rain is crying for all the sad things happening in the world, and the thunder and lightning is angry at the people responsible."
"What about the wind?"
"The wind is there to blow all the bad stuff away, and change it into good things." The child, no longer hiding, looked up at the sky in awe. They sat there for a bit, enjoying natures fireworks, when suddenly, the rain died down. "Look," the mother pointed up at the sky. A brilliant rainbow shone above everything, making every drop of rain shine a spectacular color.
"A rainbow is special. It's a promise made to us that everything is over, that everything will be okay." The boy's eyes were feeling heavy, as he gazed at the display. He slowly fell back into his bed, and fell asleep to the sound of his mother's lullaby.
That was the night my father died.
