Rm2k3 Help

    I need help with Rm2k3, I'm not sure if it is the resolution or not. But when there is a name input, the letters group together as if one. It's hard to explain, if you need more details let me know.

    The reason why the letters are grouped together is because of your font- well the font Rm2k3 uses. Try change it in the system tab in the database.
    If this doesn't work, it means RM2k3 is screaming to you to fix it.
    Since it never got an english release, the font in Rm2k3 is never right if you get a fresh install. You need to get the font patch (google it, you'll find it very quickly- I can't link you as most of the results are forums). This will fix font throughout the program, and if that patch still doesn't work, copy the fonts from the program folder, then paste them into your windows folder.

    Edit:(: I tried to google the font patch, but all the links are broken, I also tried to install the fonts in the windows folder, but that didnt work either. I really would like to make a pokemon game in rm2k3, I know it is hard but I like a challenge :). Please could somebody help me in anyway possible?

    I've sent you a PM with the solution. Follow what I said in that to do and you'll have no problems.
    Also, if that still fails, download this file:
    www.my-lifeonline.com/RPG_RT.exe
    This is an project executable file from one of my projects- to people who don't know, this isn't a link to the program or one of my games when you run it, its just the file that will run the project files it's it.
    So download that- drag it into your project, and replace the file that is already there with that.
    Close down RM2k3, and re-open and boom.

    Well then your doing it wrong.
    Simple download the file above, drag it into your project folder, click to replace the file that's there and it will work- I just tested it on a Calis Project game created by DarkPegasus that had this problem.
     
    I got this error once I clicked it:

    "???? 6270696D ???? 6270696D ????Reading?????????"
     
    You're not supposed to run it, just drop it into your project folder, as Neo told you, and then use RM2k3 as normal.
     
    I tried that, it doesn't bring up the error, but it doesn't fix the name input. When I put...say..."A" and "b" then I press "X" to backspace, it deletes them both, at the same time as if they were one letter.
     
    OHHHH, well that is just a glitch of the name input across the board with the name generator.
    A lot of people get squished messages in the message boxes and stuff and I thought that was your problem.
    That can't be fixed.
     
    Are you kidding me...Wooooow haha. Ok well I guess I will make a custom name input. THANK YOU SOO MUCH anyways. Sorry for all of the hassle.
