[RMT] OU Shoddy

Ice Fang would only really be decent for Celebi, and you cover Celebi rather easily anyway.

I like the new team, but what exactly is Scarf Medicham doing? It seems decent, but Bronzong poops on it. Why are you considering Bullet Punch? Is it for Choice Scarf Gengar leads? Because seriously...it'd be a waste of a slot. I like Thunderpunch and the...2HKO (?) on Gyarados, over being slept and doing lol damage to gengar. Fake Out is...>_<

I think he meant put Ice Fang on Gyarados, but I like Bite/Waterfall/SE/DD better.

I'm considering a better fighting resist (or immunity) than Salamence. It cannot handle fighters with Stone Edge well (nearly all of them) and even Lucario might pack HP Ice.

Considering Spiritomb.

EDIT: Bronzong poops on Gallade to =/ Medicham is actually stronger than Gallade in terms of attack, and has a higher defense (though lower SpD)

Salamence switches into fighting attacks, specifically Choice Band fighting attacks. (CB Machamp/Heracross etc) You aren't going to stay in on a Lucario now are you? Switch in, take the CC, then switch in something else to take the Stone Edge.

People will see through that prediction game very easily. What I want for my fighting resist it to switch in, and wall it without having to switch around. Weezing and (to an extent) Tomb can do that, so I'm considering them.

Spiritomb? Seriously, it does far less for you than Salamence does. Will-o-Wisping can only go so far, especially against one of the main fighting type users in Heracross...

Salamence cannot take on the fighters like Machamp, Hera, Lucario and Medicham. All of them either pack Stone Edge of Ice Punch, all of them usually have boosts (first and last CB, middle two Swords Dance)

PP Stall them? Are you serious? What set are you going to be running? btw, what happens when you run into those Swords Dancer's you were going on about? Oh, you'll be ok, just PP stall them...X_X

I'm just saying, Spiritomb handles fighters MUCH better than Mence does. Which is why I'm opting for either Weezing or something else.

No....it doesn't. I don't know how you get to that result. After intimidate, Stone Edge fails to OHKO Salamence (meaning 2HKO), and Stone Edge 2HKO's standard Spiritomb. Spiritomb can't do jack all for your team overall really, whereas Salamence actually has good resistences etc that you can rely on.

Salamence >>> Spiritomb

This doesn't mean you don't remove Salamence, you just DON'T USE SPIRITOMB.

You forgot to put Weezing in the equation =/

I might go Weezing, his only weakness can be supported by Metagross, 4x resists Psychic.

You can't cover all of the fighters with just one resist. Weezing has Gallade and Psycho Cut to fear, while Gliscor fears those Ice Punches. Your team has those coverages (Metagross), and Weezing can handle any fighting moves.

Thus, Weezing or Gliscor > others here.

After some testing, I've grown to like Specsluke quite a bit. It helps with my physical sweeping weakness, as well as helping me counter TTar much better (Stone Edges and Crunch's my friends)
But if I do add Specsluke; who could it go over?
