So yeah, this is the team I've been using on Shoddy for a while, and I just wanna get some advice on making it better and updating it for the new Platinum movesets that are going to be showing up all over the place now.

    Lead: Gengar @Wide Lens
    Timid - Levitate
    6 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd
    Hypnosis
    Shadow Ball
    Focus Blast
    Substitute

Pretty much a standard Gengar, but with Substitute for blocking anything that tries to hit Gengar with a status move, then hitting them back with Hypnosis. Wide Lens is for upping the accuracy of Focus Blast and Hypnosis.

    Heatran @Leftovers
    Modest - Flash Fire
252 HP, 18 Sp. Atk, 240 Sp. Def
    Overheat
    Earth Power
    Will-o-Wisp
    Stealth Rock

Mainly for spreading Burn and setting up Stealth Rock. Because of the Sp. Def EVs, it can take quite a few Special hits, and works really well as an Azelf counter.

    Salamence @Life Orb
    Rash - Intimidate
    120 Atk, 252 Sp. Atk, 138 Spd
    Brick Break
    Draco Meteor
    Flamethrower
    Crunch

Mostly in there for brute strength and type coverage. Crunch is used over Roost as the team needs a quick way to get rid of Cresselia.

    Metagross @Expert Belt
    Naughty - Clear Body
    252 Atk, 126 Sp. Atk, 132 Spd
    Meteor Mash
    Earthquake
    Grass Knot
    Hidden Power [Fire]

Mix Metagross with pretty good type coverage. Meteor Mash for STAB, Earthquake for hitting weaknesses, Grass Knot for hitting slower Rock/Ground/Water types, mostly Swampert or the occansional Rhyperior. HP [Fire] is for surpising Steels.

    Mamoswine @Choice Band
    Adamant - Snow Cloak
    64 HP, 252 Atk, 194 Spd
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Ice Shard
    Ice Fang

Choice Banded Ice Shard OHKO's most Dragons and Sky Forme Shaymin, which is starting to see some play. It can also hit Dugtrio pretty hard if need be.

    Suicune @Leftovers
    Bold - Pressure
    252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Sp. Atk
    Surf
    Calm Mind
    Roar
    Hidden Power [Electric]

There for a bit of tanking and phazing, as well as hitting things hard with Surf, and walling most other Waters while hitting them back with HP [Electric].
