    Overview:
    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    In Detail:

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Spiritomb @ Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 112 Sp.Def/252 HP/144 Atk
    Careful Nature
    - Pain Split
    - Pursuit/Sucker Punch
    - Taunt
    - Will-O-Wisp

A traditional starter set for Spiritomb. I needed a good starter and then an anti-spin and after Mismagius had more or less failed for me, I saw this set. Fantastic mixed wall, stopp physical attackers in their tracks with W-O-W, Taunt is there to stop CM-ers from setting up. Pain Split to soak up strong attacks and then I'm unsure where to go on Pursuit & Sucker Punch. Any concrete ideas?

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Alakazam @ Choice Specs
    Ability: Synchronize
    EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
    Timid Nature
    - Focus Blast
    - Psychic
    - Shadow Ball
    - Trick

A great traditional TrickSpecs Alakazam and my team's Special Sweeper. Trick to cause an annoyance, and the otehr 3 moves for great type coverage.

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival
    Salamence @ Choice Band
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 Atk
    Adamant Nature
    - Dragon Claw
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge
    - Fire Blast

My team's Physical Sweeper. An all-out power assault. Fire Blast to catch people off-guard. Stone Edge for Gyarados. Earthquake for it's sheer power and Dragon Claw for some good old STAB.

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Tentacruel @ Toxic Sludge
    Ability: Liquid Ooze
    EVs: 204 HP/172 Sp.Def/36 Spd/96 Sp.Atk
    Calm Nature
    - Surf
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Rapid Spin

My team's Spinner and Toxic Spiker. A really reliable Pokemon, that benefits from Liquid Ooze. Toxic Spikes because they rock. Rapid Spin, because my team needs one. Surf for STAB, then my dilemma. Should I go Sludge Bomb for STAB or Ice Beam?

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Registeel @ Leftovers
    Ability: Clear Body
    EVs: 252 HP/200 Def/56 Sp.Def
    Careful Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Punch
    - Thunder
    - Stealth Rock

My team's Physical Wall, although it can be percieved as a Mixed Wall. I caught a Careful one, then changed it's set, so a different nature would of been nice, yet with Careful, it helps it all round to be a Mixed Wall. Earthquake for type coverage and RAW power, Ice Punch for Dragons, Thunder for Gyarados and Stealth Rock because it's useful and I really wanted one of my team members to have it.

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 Def/216 Sp.Def/40 HP
    Calm Nature
    - Seismic Toss
    - Thunder Wave
    - Softboiled
    - Aromatherapy

The most over-used Special Wall in existence, yet she is awesome, so why not. Shame she doesn't have W-O-W, then she'd be even better. Yet Spiritomb can help her with that. Cripple with T-Wave; Become a Cleric with Aromatherapy, heal with Softboiled and pack a punch with Seismic Toss.

With Will-o-Wisp there, you might not want so much Defense. And I would try out Pursuit opposed to Sucker Punch. Most of the things you will end up taunting will then want to switch out (Ninjask comes to mind).

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Alakazam @ Choice Specs
    Ability: Synchronize
    EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
    Timid Nature
    - Focus Blast
    - Psychic
    - Shadow Ball
    - Trick

    Trick always leads to fun.

    Salamence @ Choice Band
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 Atk
    Naive/Naughty Nature
    - Dragon Claw
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge
    - Fire Blast

I would avoid Adamant if you plan on Fire Blasting.

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Tentacruel @ Toxic Sludge
    Ability: Liquid Ooze
    EVs: 130 HP/ 128 SAtk / 252 Def
    Calm Nature
    - Surf
    - Sludge Bomb/Ice Beam
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Rapid Spin

Sludge Bomb will only hit grass effectively, and if you already have your spikes down you cannot really use the 30% chance for poison. Just watch out for other bulky waters.

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Registeel @ Leftovers
    Ability: Clear Body
    EVs: 252 HP/200 Def/56 Sp.Def
    Careful Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Punch
    - Thunder
    - Stealth Rock

I don't know him to well, but I really dislike Thunder.

    [PokeCommunity.com] RMT: The Carnival

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 Def/216 Sp.Def/40 HP
    Calm Nature
    - Seismic Toss
    - Thunder Wave
    - Softboiled
    - Aromatherapy

    The common Blissey, looks good.

T-tar could give you problems. I don't have any idea as to what would help right now though.

Thanks a lot for your input there. I changed Spiritomb EV's, I pasted them from Shoddy and I just realised they were stupid. Thanks for the input on the moves aswell, I'm still unsure on Pursuit/Sucker Punch, yet I'll definitely go for Ice Beam on Tentacruel. And as for Salamence, I am going to keep Adamant as it's other 3 moves will be so much more important than the "suprise" element of Fire Blast. Thunder on Registeel is also the best way for him to help take down Gyarados, so that's why that's there. Thanks again. :D

Adamant makes no difference with Fire Blast on Salamence, it still 2HKO's standard skarmory etc.

Wish Alakazam being your only Special Sweeper, when it comes to the point where you've Trick'd, and most likely it's on a wall, (you'll then be getting leftovers 95% of the time) it's sweeping potential is greatly diminished.

Registeel doesn't seem to be doing anything for you really, you need a Physical wall/tank that isn't weak to the most common physical attacks. I think a change is in order there.

EDIT: Sludge Bomb OHKO's Breloom and...I think Heracross. You have no business Ice Beaming Garchomp etc, the only really useful time would be against Gliscor, and surf does just as good a job anyway.

    Surf - 95 x 1.5 x 2 = 276 BP
    Ice Beam - 95 x 4 = 380 BP

I've never really liked Ice Beam on Tentacruel, but whatever is your fancy. (Just remember Gliscor outspeeds you and can EQ you...)

OH, BTW! Sludge Bomb is far superior vs Celebi than Ice Beam, so that can help you against any Celetran teams you may come across.

Wow dugtrio gives you a hard time. It can trap and kill Tentacruel, Blissey, Registeel, and (if it's not using Trick) Alakazam. Definitely be careful of it!

Run Flamethrower on CBmence, which with an Adamant Nature still 2HKOs Skarmory and OHKOs Forretress.

Thanks for all your advice. Due to what you said T_S, you've made an excellent point about Sludge Bomb, it's more likely to help seeing as I won't be up against any Garchomps with it. Thanks for that, I'll change it back. :)

About Alakazam, should I change it from a TrickSpecs set to an all-out special sweeping Zammy set?

If Flamethrower, can still 2HKO Skarm and OHKO Forry, then I'll definitely go for that. Such a better option.

It's a real shame about Registeel, I really like it and used my Ruby Masterball on it. Yeah, I know, I'm lazy. :P Hmm, I'll try and come up with an effective alternative, so I can see which is best between the 2.
