Okay, I've just finished my new Diamond game and I'm ready to get back into the competitive battling scene. I haven't played in the metagame since early '08 so I'm going to need some serious help on this (The only thing I really know about the current metagame is that Garchomp has been moved to Uber). Note that this team is really only for Diamond WiFi and not Shoddy/Platinum, so I'd like suggestions not to contain movesets/ev sets from Platinum. :) On to the team then.

I've heard good things about the Bronzong leads so I decided to check him out some more since I've never really used him before.

One of my favorite Wish support Pokémon. The set is pretty standard.

Pressure / Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 ATK / 216 SPD / 40 HP
- Pursuit
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
- Aerial Ace

I heard that Revenge Killing was popular currently, so I thought I'd join the crowd with my own Weavile. The set is a standard one, so no need to really explain.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Intimidate / Rash Nature
EVs: 212 Sp.ATK / 176 SPD / 120 ATK
- Flamethrower
- Draco Meteor
- Brick Break
- Roost

I was glad when I saw that Salamence had become more popular in the YouTube videos I'd been watching for the past couple of days. I got the set from Smogon, but I saw the EVs from a post somewhere here (from what I read, he'll be able to out speed Lucario).

Sand Veil / Impish Nature
EVs: 244 HP / 188 DEF / 76 SPD

- Taunt
- Fire Fang
- Earthquake

I'm thinking that I had a Hera weakness so I'm throwing in this guy for good measure. Saw this set floating around here somewhere. Outstalls Skarmory, Bronzong and Forretress with Taunt+Fire Fang Combo and keeps Hera and Breloom for running over top of me.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Inner Focus / Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 ATK / 252 SPD / 4 HP
- Swords Dance
- Crunch
- ExtremeSpeed
- Close Combat

Pure ownage Lucario! I love using this set and the destruction it usually leaves in its wake. He'll most likely not make an appearance until the late game since once the other person figures out the set they can usually wall it.

Well that's the team. I've got a feeling that I've left myself seriously weak to something or set myself up to be wall. Thus I come to you guys. Please point out my weaknesses to me so that I can get this team ready to go out to battle. I don't mind taking out Pokémon also.

Aw, Light Clay Zong is suck. 244 HP/144 Atk/104 SpDef/12 Def Sassy with Lum Berry as it is the only thing that can go anywhere near taking on Gengar. Hypnosis/Earthquake/Gyro Ball/Stealth Rock.

124 HP/252 Def/132 SpDef as Vaporeon's EV spread.

Night Slash over Aerial Ace. Put those HP EVs into Spd. They prove nothing on Weavile, HP EVs...

Not liking the MixVire weakness here, Weavile may be troublesome too.

42 HP EVs let it survive a non-LO Azelf's Flamethrower IIRC.

Pretty good standard, no glaring weaknesses, except that DD Kingdra can hurt you with a DD up.

Evs: 252 HP / 86 Atk / 80 Def / 92 SDef
