    This may be a controversial issue and I understand if this thread gets removed.
    I have several questions regarding r4:

    1) I'm looking at getting an R4 card so i can play past ds generations that i missed out on.
    1a) If I had a R4 heart gold could I trade online to my brother (in another country)?

    2) Can I play fan made roms via r4 on 2ds ?

    I just discovered this concept and it's got me excited :D

    1a) The servers for those games were taken offline so you'd only be able to trade on something like this https://github.com/polaris-/dwc_network_server_emulator.

    2) I believe so. Some cards are blocked on 3DS/2DS and I'm not sure if R4 is one of them. I recommend this: https://eng.supercard.sc/
