Apparently to change Steven Stones team in Emerald I need to edit the bytes in the hex codin? (mind blown). So after digging through the www and playing around with XSE...I am completely lost! =D

Can someone tell me how one can change the bytes or hex codes within a rom? Thanks

ROM Hacking questions belong in the Beginner's Lounge subforum so I'm going to move it on over :).

    Moved.

PS. You're going to need a Hex Editor

Your hint helped! I downloaded a Hex Editor and after a long time of searching for the offset, I found the codes! I was so scared that I was going to screw up the game with those numbers >.< But now Steven Stone has been buffed lol, thx so much. You can close the thread. :)
