Ninjas. A group of people who specialize in stealth operations, dealing intricate strikes on foes that can kill in an instant. They are crafty in almost any weapon available to them, being able to wield a katana, then switch and brandish a shotgun with ease.​

There are hundreds of ninja clans scattered around the world, most focused around Japan, but there are four that are the most important that have paved the way throughout history.​

The Watanabe clan. A small ninja clan that lives high in the mountains, living in the harsh conditions of the winds. They guard the precious Sunokochou, a pure white katana with the power to harness the sky. It is the most beautiful of the four weapons of legend.​

The Takahashi clan. A well-known ninja clan that lives deep in the heart of Africa. The searing heat there has honed them, becoming one with fire. They protect the ferocious Kajiyamazaru, a long bo staff made of the most durable of wood. One swing of this mighty weapon will set anything it touches ablze.​

The Sato clan. This is the only one of the four great clans to live in Japan. Generations of tradition have made this clan worthy foes as well as the daunting task of guarding the Yamatora, nunchaku that have the power to level mountains. They are the most powerful of the four weapons of legend.​

The Matsumoto clan. They inhabit several small islands in the middle of the ocean. Being separated from civilization has allowed them to become one with the water, granting them the ability to control it. The Mizuwanizame, a naginata with a blue edge, has been sacred in that clan for generations. It has the ability to manipulate water, moving it as the wielder pleases.​

In the year 2010, a worldwide organization has been formed. PEER--People Eradication/Elimination Resources--has become the leading center for eradicating the planet of any sort of threat to peace. Some jails have gone out since the formation of PEER since they employ special services to go to their target and eliminate them as humanely as possible. However, these soldiers are not what they appear. They have been enhanced with a special drug that gives them enhanced abilities at the loss of their humanity and saneness.​

PEER went too far in 2012. They began marketing the drug for commercial use, claming anyone wishing to protect themselves to take the drug in regular doses to enhance performance. However, the drug went horrendously wrong: people around the world began changing in bizzare ways, their bodies contorting in gruesome fashion. Anyone who underwent such a transformation was referred to as the Altered and was to be stayed away from. The drug was also contagious, which meant it was airborne. The contaigen spread around the globe much faster, infecting many people. However, PEER saw no reason to stop marketing, so they brushed off the incident.​

In 2015, the Altered Incident had been contained. Altered all around the world were contained and eliminated. Some had the fortune of being able to be cured. PEER was placed on watch to make sure no such incident would happen again.​

In that same year, the annual reunion of ninja clans around the world was being held in Japan. Hundreds of clans from around the world came to Japan to compete in tasks to be named the clan of the year. However, during the event, a massive quake ould be felt from nearby Tokyo. In the dead of the night, a massive beast sprung from underground, collapsing many buildings and killing hundreds, if not thousands of people. The ninja, fearing for the worst, rushed to Tokyo to take on the threat.​

Although the Altered had been eradicated, there was a sudden outbreak of transformations in Japan. The ninja clans felt that only four of them should be allowed to take on such a threat. The Watanabe, Sato, Takahashi, and Matsumoto clans were selected.​

The Altered have returned...
They need to be stopped before another Incidnent occurs...​

==========~~SYNOPSIS~~==========
You are a ninja in either the Watanabe, Sato, Takahashi, or Matsumoto clans. You have been chosen as one of the few ninja to go and fight the Altered threat. You are aware that PEER exists and are fully aware of the past Altered Incident. However, you have never faced an Altered in your life, so you do not know what to expect. You are to eliminate the Altered and save the world from another Incident.​

No godmodding
No bunnying
Keep swearing to a minimum: this is rated PG-14.
Keep violence and suggestive themes to a minimum as well.
There is a 6-line minimum.
This is a literate RP. Illiterate RPers will be declined.
You are to be active. A post once every 3 days will suffice.
You are to use the characters available. No creating of characters.
I reserve the right to edit my rules and refuse or boot any RPer.

I will post more information on the clans in my next post. These will include who you will be able to participate as and who is in what clan.​

==========~~SIGN UPS~~==========​

There is no creation of characters here. However, in order to sign up, you will need to create a character. This character will not be used in the RP and is merely a tool for me to assess your RPing skills.​

Age: Also pretty basic...

Gender: ...

Clan: One of the four clans mentioned.
Appearance: A descriptive paragraph or two will do. I am a visual person, however, so pictures are acceptable. Please make them links.
Personality: How does your character act? This needs to be 1-2 descriptive paragraphs.
History: What was life like for your character? 2-3 descriptive paragraphs.
Weapon(s): There are many weapons in the world. Pick up to three weapons your character carries. Dual weapons are considered one weapon and weapons you hold with two hands are considered two. You cannot have one of the four great weapons of legend.
Special Attack: What is the name of the special attack your character uses?
Todome: This is the "finishing blow". What is the name of this attack?
RP Sample: May be taken from other sources within PC.​

Later on, when I get the list of characters up, those who have signed up will be allowed to choose which character they may participate as. The choosing of characters is based on who signed up at what time, so in order to choose the character of your choice, it is recommended that you sign up early. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONSIDERED SIGN UPS. I WILL ONLY ALLOW THOSE WITH COMPLETE SIGN UPS TO CHOOSE.​
