I'm trying to set up a thing where you walk up to Pokémon in the overworld, are asked if you want to try to catch them if you interact with them, and if you answer yes, it starts a Safari Zone battle.

This is before the player gets their starter (because this is the starter-picking event), but I think I can worm my way around starting the battle without the player having a Pokémon.

Is it possible to start a Safari Zone battle via an event encounter? I figured it'd happen automatically if I made a wild encounter event in an area flagged as a safari zone area, but that didn't work. I can't seem to find a way to do so.
