what are the new parts of the Safari Zone and where are they where you catch some of the pokemon from Crystal,gold versions?

The new part in Emerald are found to the east of the very first section you go in. There were two guards guarding entrance to that area but they will be gone. You can catch the following Pokemon.

In the new sections it is divided in half. The new sections will be addressed by north and south.

Ooh Shukle appears,...I don't remember a rock smash area in the
expanded safari zone.

I have most everything listed for the new pokemon ...that took forever.

how rare is snubbull and do you have to surf to it's grass patch ?

Yes, look all the way to the NorthWest part of the extended Safari Zone you will find rocks. Snubbles are rare to find. No surfing to get to where they are
