well the thing is if you use dragon dance whilst against an Ice type can you really risk taking a STABed Ice Beam? 4x weakness + STAB = dead salamence no matter were you put your EV's

And there's really that many usable Ice-types. Besides,

Rock Slide (after several Dragon Dances) > Fire Blast
on Lapras or Regice.

You forgot Jynx. Possibly one of the best ice types. And Jynx > Lapras. =0

But Regice > Jynx

Lapras > Jynx < Regice. Lapras can Roar Jynx away while she tries to CM, or just use Body Slam to pick on her low defence + paralysis.

Choice Band only affects physical moves, so it's useless on Jynx (and what do you do after Lovely Kiss? You have to switch for a turn anyway and there goes one precious round of sleep assuming they kept in, and another round if you want to put Jynx back in the fight) Lum Berry is the item of choice for Jynx, she's nowhere near a tank or worthy enough for Leftovers.

I was under the misconception that CB affected any moves, although I hadnt been using that set. After they go to sleep, use Fake Tears, and if they switch, they just got smacked with your boo hooing. Then generally one Ice Beam or Psychic will ohko them if your evs are in sp.attack.

I agree on the leftovers thing.

CM might be better than Fake Tears in some cases, although Fake Tears does have a pseudohazing effect after 1-2 uses, CM does give Jynx some Sp Def, and will be able to survive a Fire or Dark attack if one happens to come along.

They are changable. I found that CM just brings out a phazer or hazer.

And it's a bloody shame, too. CB Zam would be really nice. Massive sweeping with the ability Trick the CB on tanks. Bloody shame it can't be done.
