saw commercial-don't know name of pokemon product

I am posting on behalf of my 6yr old son,,,he saw a commercial this morning that "told about pokemon,,and you had to put all the cards in it."...he also said it was red and that it would tell you all about the pokemon card that was in it.....I was able to figure out that it is not a game that you play on playstation,,,he there were a few kids in the commerical and they were "being told about the cards with this thing"..

so , if anyone out there has any ideas on what this could possibly be, please reply..

maybe some kind of pokemon card reader or something?

first of all you dont play pokemon games on a playstation you play them on the ds ,gamecube ,gameboy, and wii. and the thing he saw was a pokedex and you dont put cards in it you check pokemon data on it.

Yes I agree, it must be a PokeDex. It doesn't have anything to do with cards though... but it's the only Pokemon commercial I've seen aside from ones about figurines.
