What is the basic science experiment you have tried for the first time and what you have done lately or your favourite ones?

For me I covered a burning candle with a glass and the thing I have done lately is a Periscope.

Oh! Oh! I've done many experiments like working compass, ping pong ball anemometer, series and parallel circuit, simple electric motor and so on. Hmmm....my favorite one ...let's see....na...ehh....no....yup! It's study of "Mpemba Effect". easy squezzy xD.
Objective of this experiment is that to see if hot water can freeze faster than cold water? I've just joined uni so I didn't performed any major experiment but looking forward to do some xD.

( Hey hamgaleo! Will you please add a science icon in front of your thread title? It'll look awesome xD )

    done by someone else,

Hey, i mean, what is Mpemba Effect?? :p

You see under special circumstances hot water freezes faster than cold water that phenomenon is known as mpemba effect. But to describe my whole experiment here damn it'll take some time but you get what basis premises of this experiment is xD.
