    tell me what u guys think about scope lens VS leftovers in the OU environment of smogon. my stand is that if u use scope lens,use it on the whole team.like for e.g,my team

    that way,scope lens will most certainly work.and scope lens does work at least twice per game for me.what do u guys think?RMT too btw =D its sorta naruto-based nicknames. ^^

    I prefer Brick Break incase your opponent is a smart little bugger and attacks you instead of trying to avoid your hit.

    Ice covers more areas, Grass is only Swampert coverage really..

    Hm, I just didn't like your Sub set for some reason.. If Aero has Sub, he needs to do something with it, his attack is to low without Choice Band if you have him Jolly aswell..

    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    I like this set better, Starmie has the defences to get in Toxic and then start stalling with Recover aswell.

    I didn't re-do EV's or anything, but I changed the sets to somestuff I like better, I like Leftovers over Scope Lens by the way.

    For Smeargle though, his defences and HP just suck, so I guess it's better to hope for CH's than to try living off Leftovers :P

    If you have to switch him in on the DDsets of them, I think he'd get his arse handed back to him lol.

    smeargle gets intimidated.
    smeargle used green powdery stuff.
    gya went to snore.
    smeargle used transform.
    gya is still a pig.
    smeargle used dd.
    gya is STILL a pig.
    smeargle sweeps =D.

    btw what is a good counter for a sala which has dd-ed twice?i was thinking snorlax but i wanted a sp.sweeper+tank

    Switch it on on a Dragon Dance, and Ice Beam.

    It can take a hit y'know.

    Vaporeon can take a hit, and can Ice Beam back for a OHKO, also, nothing Salamence can do is SE against it (No on standard sets anyway).

    You could try Solrock to stop it (It avoids EQ, HP Flying is NVE), and it can pack a mean Rock slideback :P
     
    Solrock is a good Phy.sweeper. That smegale got owned when i swithced to pory 2 :P It transformed to my sala :P I neraly beat that team..... Next time
     
    I use Pert for my mence counter

    HP: Grass on Jolt OHKO's Rock/Grounds which ice doesn't

    BTW if you put a petaya on Jolt he OHKO's Mence with T-Bolt.

    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

    - Toxic

    He covers both defences this way, and trust me, he will NOT be OHKO'd by anything not STAB'd.
     
    i dont really like status moves on anything slow,as sub is rampant =(
     
    You don't do Toxic things that have Sub as part of the standard set.

    Toxicing things like Starmie is a good idea, but not Jolteon (Because it Subs).

    And I like popping up outof no where in Invisible Mode I might swap back though so people know I'm on :P
     
    how bout 36 hp evs instead of 228,its 320 hp and benefits from lefties
     
    I like to have more HP to cover the defences a little more, I play him as a semi defensive pokemon :P
     
    Hey shouldnt the discussion really be Scope Lens vs Choice Band instead of Scope Lens vs Lefties.
     
    No, it shouldn't be.

    Incase you didn't notice, Sin wants to know what should be on 3 (or was it 4) of his pokemon, Leftovers or Choice Band.

    Only 1 of them has it now, and I suggested another one.

    Topic is Lefties VS Scope, not Scope VS CB :P
     
    I kno what it is. >_>. Im saying Scope Lens vs CB should be looked at. More damage always and limit ur moves? Or more damage sometimes but more freedom in move choice?
     
    More freedom in moves is the best in my opinion,that's why I don't use Choice Band.
     
    Ugh.

    ANYWAY.

    Between Scope and Lefties, I say Lefties.

    Between Scope and CB, depends on situation.
