[Other] screen blacks out after warp!

Thanks for your help in advance here's my problem-
I am making a script from where when you get out of you room in FR and walk down the staircase
your mom calls you to where she's sitting and gives you the running shoes. The problem is that after
the animation of walking down the stairs the game blacks out the music is still on tough.

i places the script tile on the warp tile

Where's the warp part?

You can't put the script on top of the warp tile. For this to work the way you want to you have to create a level script that only happens once when you go down the stairs. Here's a tutorial on how it works.

I tried level scripting and the screen does'nt black out now but the script doesn't work!also the mother sprite doesn't show up in the game but shows up in a-map.The game freezes ate specific places i'll show the pic

Solved by nikolai fox it was a very idiotic error. I did'nt know that level scripts functioned on their own and didn't need their own script boxes sorry guys :P
