[Other Question] SE pitch issue

Im having a slight issue with custom pokemon cries. In this situation I edited a sound effect of a wolf howling to be at a high pitch to make it seem like its a little wolf or a small wolf pup howling. When the pokemon is sent into battle the cry is the proper pitch and sounds perfect. But when I view the pokemon out side of battle the pitch is much deeper. I doubled checked that I only have one file in SE/Cries and it is the proper file. What could be causing the change in pitch?
