searching for an old hgss rom hack

heyhey, im looking for an old rom hack that i played back when i was about 10. i was obsessed with hgss at this age and had a bunch of legally dubious roms of it saved to my tablet, all with different saves and stories. at this point hgss was pretty expensive too (like $50)
heres the info i have, i fugure you qll will be better for finding this than me:

- the hack was pretty popular, so it's weird that it slipped my mind.
- the year i was playing it in was about 2016, but i believe it came out earlier than that
- the hack made the game more difficult, but i dont remember it adding any story or changing anything other than that. trade evos may have been changed, but i dont think more pokemon were made availible.
- i believe there was a heartgold version of the hack, i could be misremembering too and the hack could have been exclusively heartgold

any help wouldd be appreciated, i hated difficulty when i first played this hack and tended to play everything on easy but i love a good challenge now and would love to play the game again. i remember having a lot of fun with it despite getting stuck in bugsy too lol
