5th Gen Seasonal Changes

Uh, who said it was May?

There have been no sources, not even ones that are usually fake that said that. It'll come out in March, like almost every other new Pokemon game.

Anyways, the seasons being assigned months is good. That way people are less willing to manipulate them.

DP came out on April 22nd. If the games come out then it would be okay (id think it would be a Spring season).

 

[Blue Nocturne]

Something has just occurred to Blue Nocturne. What if this happened: (look at thumbnail, I don't have imageshack anymore)

I've obviously got there through cheating, but what would happen if you managed to trap yourself like this and you didn't have fly/teleport ? They had a similar situation in DPPt with the waterfalls where it was possible to trap yourself and they made it so you needed waterfall to go down one, what measures are there to prevent this?

I don't think seasons change until you enter or leave a building.

So if you're up there and save during Winter, then you don't play until another season, it won't change until you leave the route, go in a building, then leave the building.

I think the concept of seasonal changes are neat =D I can't wait to see how it pans out and affects gameplay

I believe the season changes make the games have a bit more vibrant or lively feel to the nature and graphics. Especially since Black and White has an aim on the graphic views, this has it all the more attractive. In addition to that, this feature is also connected to the way some of the Pokémon 'transform' during each season, and there's many things that makes this feature so well-liked. Although I have yet to have the experience for myself, this is one feature I can look at and know it's a great detail added in the game which is one of the parts that make Black and White another reason to purchase.

This feature is pretty cool. Though only the reindeer has the different color depending on the season. I think a few more could have been affected by it as well.
