I apologize for posting a new thread here while I already have another one (with a different team of course), but I remember reading that members are allowed two open threads and I just recently put together a second team with a different strategy, this time using sets from smogon. I have a few specific questions about parts of it, as well. Thanks!!

    Anyways, here we go:

    :t145: Zapdos @ Leftovers
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 136 HP/4 Atk/116 Spd/252 SAtk
    Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Agility
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hidden Power [Grass]
    - Baton Pass
    ---
I use this as my opener. The basic idea is, send him out, judge whether the opponent will switch to counter, and if so use agility otherwise use an attack move. Once I'm able to get off an agility, I'll baton pass. Depending on who the opponent has out, I'll pass to either vaporeon or togekiss, to increase stats further. My question here is, what should I do about being tricked? One time I battled, I got tricked into holding a choice scarf after using agility. Then I had to switch out and ended up losing.

    :t134: Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 128 HP/252 Def/128 Spd
    Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Baton Pass
    - Acid Armor
    - Substitute
    - Surf
    ---
Used for 101+ subs and acid armor. Baton pass is for each, if I can keep my sub long enough. From here, if I can keep my sub, I'll usually pass to breloom for a focus punch. Otherwise I might go to togekiss or latias.

    :t176: Togekiss (M) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Serene Grace
    EVs: 252 HP/192 Spd/64 SDef
    Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Air Slash
    - Nasty Plot
    - Baton Pass
    - Roost
    ---
Nasty plot passer. Also has air slash in case it needs it, and in times when I need to get rid of some pokemon since it has a 60% chance to flinch. Roost is to last long enough against anyone who can't 2HKO me so I have time to np and bp.

    :t286: Breloom (M) @ Toxic Orb
    Ability: Poison Heal
    EVs: 44 HP/252 Atk/212 Spd
    Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Spore
    - Substitute
    - Stone Edge
    - Focus Punch
    ---
Focus puncher, and sporer. Poison heal and toxic orb are there so I can have a status to block out other statuses (that does work, right?) along with a free leftovers heal. I think the reasons behind the attacks are obvious, but basically substitute is for switches, and focus punch to obliterate a non-flying or ghost. Stone edge for flyers and fire types. Also works for gyrados, mence, and dnite.

    :t380: Latias (F) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
    Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Calm Mind
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Surf
    - Recover
    ---
One of my three finishers. If I can get some boosts to it via baton pass, esp. with a nasty plot and agility from togekiss and zapdos respectively, it would theoretically be unstoppable after a cm or two. I suppose you could say I have a weakness here to salamence and dragonite, but I figure if I can get an agility to it it shouldn't be a problem. The uncertainty of doing that, though, makes me worry a little bit. I remember reading somewhere that a zapdos's thunderbolt can 2HKO a mence but I don't know if it required a life orb or something.

    Azelf @ Life Orb
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 36 HP/220 Spd/252 SAtk
    Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
    - Explosion
    - Psychic
    - Flamethrower
    - Hidden Power [Ground]
    ---
[Changed from Zam] This seems to be stronger so I don't die from being breathed on. I opted for the life orb version to make use of any speed, defense, and special attack boosts I can manage to get from other poke's and just sweep.

I'm sure there's some weakness I'm missing. Scizor maybe? Dunno. Anyways, this team seems to be doing me a good job so far...but I'm sure I haven't met all threats yet.

    EDIT: Also
