    Ha ha! Yesterday I was just thinking to myself of how I needed an Electric type for my team, and BOOM, this happens! Printing the code out now...
     
    Feh. I already bred and raised my own, but I guess this one'll be good for collection.
     
    cool i'm going to reset for some good IV's and have yet another electivire, thanks man.
     
    no you have to soft reset for new stats each time. he soft reseted until he got one with max IV's in hp and attack.
     
    Oh, I should have realized I could soft reset before I saved...
    Oh well, looks like i'm stuck with this one.
    *runs off to check IVs*

    EDIT: 31 Attack on an Adamant isn't bad at all. HP is severely lacking.
     
    Yeah, mine has 157 attack and 115 speed, which to my knowledge is max at level 50.
     
    How does one soft-reset to get the Electivire's IVs to change? Do you Mystery Gift, check the stats, then soft-reset the DS, or what?
     
    You mystery gift it and save without getting it from the guy. Turn it on, take it from the guy, check its IVs, soft reset until you get a good one.
     
    Every time I soft reset, my Electivire still had unusually high Attack IVs. Was I just lucky, or did anyone else notice this? I don't think I ever saw his attack fall below 150 or so...
     
    I've never Mystery Gifted before. Who do I get the Electivire (or anything for that matter) from?
