We finally have info on the first DVD for Gundam Seed. It will be released in August (exact date not yet known), with 5 episodes on the first DVD and at a price of 29.99(ending any doubt that Seed is Bandai's cash cow for the year since they've lowered the price on everything else).

I'm quite surprised we're seeing it this early considering the word was that it wasn't coming out on DVD until the fall. Of course this brings up the question of whats gonna happen with the Zeta and F91 release. With Seed coming out in August, overshadowing the other releases, will they delay them further. I for one will be boycotting Seed's US release(and all other Bandai DVDs, haven't bought one since last year) until I have the Zeta box set in my hands, since I'm so upset over the way they've treated that show.
