Wow. That took longer than expected to post XD *shakes fist*
Anywho, the results!
.:Kaku:. 9.5/10
By putting a really detailed sprite in front of a simple background, you've drawn all the attention to the character whilst still setting a suitable environment. As said before, the character itself looks really detailed, with impressive shading, especially on the hair and torso. Colours are nice as well, and suit the piece.

Small and simple piece. Shading is well done - the dithering, however little there is, on the beak was put to some good use. Outline looks a bit choppy in some places, most notably ... on the beak XD

It's a shame that you save this as a .jpg, cause as a result of which I am unable to give any realy crit on it as it's ruined. It looks nice from a distance though, and the shading on the water looks as if it was well done.
Aviator Maz 8.5/10
Really nice use of colours and dithering here. The piece itself has amazing detail, especially the wall which seems to have had a lot of effort put into it. The characters themselves look really nice as well.
Arkray 7/10
You people all lurve Pokémon Dungeon now don't you? XD This piece here is pretty in a sense, with the colours heightening it's appeal. The attempt to add some shape to the envelope was well done, but it still looks kinda flat. Try shading the outline as well for a more fuller effect.
Maxxa 9/10
It's a shame you didn't complete the entire phone - I'm sure it would've looked great. It's really well drawn, the colours are well suited, and the anti-aliasing is excellent.
Opacus 8.5/10
A cute little drawing here with really nice use of pastel colours. On the whole it looks great - the anatomy, while distorted somewhat (the arms seem a bit too long), looks good. Moreover, the shading looks great, except for on the tail where you kinda let yourself down.
So it goes ...
Congrats to .:Kaku:. for his lovely piece, and congrats to all the winners. Thanks to all the participants as well, they were all great. I hope my critiques are useful and put to good use and you'll go on to produce more and better work ^^[/cheesytalk]
