Question: Server Problem?

Today, I was trying to get on, but there was no connection. :\
So, later I tried again, same thing.
Hours later, the server finally worked.
Was the board undergoing changes or something?

I don't know what was going on...but I also had problems connecting. IOW...I couldn't even FIND the site let alone connect to it...

Yeah dude the board when under maintinance at "12:01am to 4:00am CDT" so the server was down

i am not exactly sure what time that is in America Central time, but the board was down around 12pm and 4pm Central time in america. So i guess its about a 12 hour conversion

This maintenance will be performed in the four-hour window from 12:01am through 4:00am CDT, tomorrow, July 23, 2008. There will be downtime as they are moving servers to new racks..

While we have a four-hour maintenance window scheduled, we anticipate less than thirty minutes of downtime for each affected server.

Yeah...I saw that. But I couldn't access the forum until around 9PM so THAT is what I am asking about.

It says 12 to 4 AM, but I couldn't access the forums from 12 to 4 PM, was that just a typo or something? (I live near CDT, so it isn't just the time difference.)

Guys, calm down.
I severely doubt that anyone hacked PokéCommunity.
As Rukario stated in the Announcements earlier this week, the server that PokéCommunity is hosted on was being moved to another rack. That's why the site didn't even appear to exist. Have you ever noticed that usually it says "Database error" or the like?
Don't fret, I'm sure PC is fine and safe.
