    OK guys, I've recently picked up Fire Red and am enjoying the experience after such a drought. I plan to go and complete Pokemon Gold afterwards (I'm not completeing my Fire Red) and I mean the whole thing - trainers, PokeDex, the lot. I'm gonna breed 5 pokemon from my current game to go with my starter, all of which I haven't decided yet. Could you guys help me make a solid and balanced team? Any help would be awesome.
     
    This should be in the movesets forum, but oh well.

    Try Feraligatr, Charizard, Exeggutor, Piloswine, Jolteon, and Heracross.
