Gleaming shards
Scattered all around

I can't get back on track
Your voice keeps ringing out in my head
It's impossible to ignore
Lost love.

I'm just left here
Like an excess load
Being dumped by the wayside
Staring back at the leaving figure.

I know it's you
but that hurts even more
Leaving me just staring at these
Shards

They're cold and jagged
Torn like a piece of blank paper
My mind broken up
Like these forsaken shards.
