4th Gen Shiney pokemon

    I wud really like 1, don't really care what it is! Is there anywhere that has a higher probability of finding a shiny pokemon? I#'m NOT a noob, and i DO realize that they are randomly found, but still, any tips???
     
    chaing with the Pokeradar? I have several Shinies I can clone for you.......... do you want a Shiny Zangoose?

    Chain with the Pokeradar. If you don't have it, you can get it after getting the national dex from Professor (Oak?)
     
    Chainning only require practice, and is the easiest way to obtain a Shiny, is 1/8192 the normal posibility of get a shiny. With a long chain (40 pokemons chained) the posibility is 1/200 (I'm not sure is this is exact but sumthing like that) so It's far easy than normal way. You can found A LOT of guides about this, just don't worry.

    Sorry this isn't exact even if you do so many chains the possibility remains the same. The only way of getting shinies are luck and trading basically.

    Yes, when you are chaining and defeated a pokemon go for the same type of grass [except if the grass flickered shiny] and stay away from the closest shaking grass. You might end up breaking your chain.

    Seeing how it's all just chance, people like to come up with statistics and junk to try and prove or disprove things, but in the end it's all just luck... however using the Pokeradar has a better chance than just running into one, but you're never guaranteed to run into a Shiny.

    This is true, GTS has been known to erase peoples saves whilst Action Replay, well im yet to hear a case.

    But back ontopic, the best way to catch a shiny is indeed Chaining with the PokeRadar, i've gotten 2 shinies this way, and 1 just normally walking through grass (God bless my shiny Crobat..)
     
    Sorry, hippyogriff, but this thread has way too many offtopic posts. But it can be easily solved. There are no real ways to get shinies easier if you don't count chaining. If you want tips on chaining, there is a guide in the FAQ. Aside from that, you don't need many replies, especially if they have nothing to do with the topic.
